The Eye of Typhoon
In January 2004 a small booklet was discovered showcasing this game. The writing in the booklet is Korean and tells us that the game may have been originally intended solely for distribution and use in Asian markets. Such was the case with Viccom's Fight Fever, another very recluse and mostly unknown title from 1994. In fact, since this game is also made by Viccom, some have even speculated and dubbed this game to be a "Fight Fever 2". This is as of yet uncertain, but suffice it to say that although it is rare in the video game business to produce sequels for games that saw little success, it is however very common practice to distance the association with the prequel through name alterations when done. Either way, this unreleased fighting game (the second to be found among the lost protos) appears to have improved graphics (and hopefully gameplay as well) over Fight Fever. It also has more characters in the roster. An educated guess places its year of release to be circa 1995. If the person who scanned the booklet would have scanned the front and back cover, then we would know for sure. Damn!
